Moonj grass (Saccharum munja) is a tall, wild perennial plant that grows near riverbanks in India and is hand-woven by rural artisans into sustainable home items.

Tumhari Saakhi women artisans weave the peeled grass into durable items like Handmade Moonj Grass Declutter Baskets, Storage Bins, Trays, and Coasters. Women often wrap moonj around a stiffer core grass called Kaasa to give baskets a strong shape.
